Default Edelbrock heads on 302 windsor

Hi guys,

I've got a Windsor 302 in my Cobra and would like to put some aftermarket heads on.
If I put on a set of Edelbrock heads on, are the exhaust ports in exactly the same position as the standard heads? My headers have been made for my (very tight) engine bay and I really don't want to have to change them.
Thanks
Simon

How much do the Victor Junior heads differ from the standard exhaust port height and bolt spacing, I have been considering replacing my Trickflows with these and am looking at the pro's and cons.

World Products heads also have the stock exhaust port location.

All of the street replacement heads have the intake, and exhaust manifolds (& headers) using the same bolt patterns and gaskets. The higher up the curve you go toward a track or racing head, the more the manufacturers take liberties with moving things like exhaust ports and bolt patterns around to optimize flow.

So the FMS Sportsman, TFS-R, and the like, will need a new set of headers. Roush Iron heads, Ede Performer RPM, AFR 165 - 185, TFS Twisted Wedge Street need no exhaust modifications.

If your TFS heads have the 2.02/1.60 valves, see no advantage to replacing with Ede's. You may even loose some HP.
