Cal,
Thanks. I'm looking for the whole "run" beginning to end--all the issues. Realistically, I'm looking for as many of that series as I can assemble. In other words, I'm NOT looking for a particular article or issue. I'll pay going rate, postage , whatever.
Excal,
Don't need the poo', just the shed. Also, could you arrange for a HUGE Hobie long-board (preferably with bunks, shower, etc.)--or a Duke "Olijaysuslookadatfatti!" board would also be okay. You can extrapolate tonnage by looking at "Fred Cooks!" photo in Gallery!
Carrion, guys, and thanks,

I think I have a full set but, try as I might to preserve them, they are looking awful damn worn. Mine are not for sale either. I know what you are thinking now. Every jacka$$ in the world is responding,"I got mine." I would be interested to know the exact number that was published before it was proclaimed that the Cobra crowd could not support its own mag. Try E-Bay- I have been thinking about running my full set of Open Wheel mags (to about 1998 that is), Somewhat like "Cobras" the first 1/2 dozen issues are very collectable.

Well thanks, guys (I guess)
I understood, at the beginnig, that this was going to be difficult. I figured that, over time, that I could piece a set together. This will be arduous and time-consuming---BUTT it is NOT for me. Due to a lucky purchase a few months ago CHRONICALLED RIGHT HERE ON CLUB COBRA, I got a complete set. Local Massachusetts lad, who had just sold his FFR, in fact. This OTHER (not-yet-existent) set is for a CC friend who's helping me immensely on picking hull-color for my Butler! The offer stands, gents--fair price and anything else within reason.. Thanks for the input.

Fred, I've been trying to email and answer your tire questions but they keep bouncing back. What's up with that? Send me an e-mail address and I'll try again.
Cheers, Pete C

Thanks, Pete,
It's "DouglassF@aol.com" (without the quotation marks). This bouncing-back phenomenon raises the question whether or not my Club Cobra e-address is the same as my AOL one. I thought that's how we registered pur addresses.I have noticed, Pete, that any e-mail I send to a CC member does NOT show up in my "Sent MAil" file on AOL. Give it a shot--or call me: (508) 564-4297---but allow for the TD, California to Massachusetts. I'll try to e-mail Brent---BUT, a couple of days ago I tried to reach him with a request and apparently didn't get through either.
Thanks,

Fred,
Do you get the e-mail notification when anyone answers a post that you have subscribed to or have answered ? Maybe check the options in your CP if not.

Ron,
I've e-mailed Brent about this: somehow the CC e-mail I was using was switched to Adelphia. It is very possibly due to the fact that I was temporarily linked up with the latter. Until I can figure out how to dump the incorrect e-address, eveyone who wants to e-mail me should (I guess) drop off the CC site and employ: DouglassF@aol.com
If you want, or if the e-mail is still jinxed, just call me at my home (508) 564-4297.
Keep in mind the TD twixt Olde Cape Codde and points west!

Fred,
Thanks for the reply. Boy, am I ever understanding about the TD between there and here. Before I retired I worked for the old Bell Labs and the tech groups for Pac Bell and I spent my whole life on planes and in motels and that jet lag can be a killer. I appreciate you letting me have your e-mail address as I once in a while like to send or ask something in more or less private. My e-mail is RRonWidener@aol.com if you should ever what to contact me other than through the club. Have a good day.
