braking problem Shelby CSX7000

I am beyond my area of expertise here and I ask for help. A friend has a CSX 7000 series with only ~500 miles. The car has a braking problem, in that the car don't stop!!!! Well, it does, but very slowly. We find out the rears are grabbing the discs much sooner and tighter than the fronts. The front system has a larger master cylinder, there is a very firm pedal, no air in the system and no visible way to adjust the proportioning. Any ideas?

What master cylinder is he using? What proportioning valve? What discs?

Good questions, no answers! I'll have to look. The mechanic reports there is no proportioning valve. The cylinders are most likely girling. I don't know what discs Shelby uses on these cars.

Check and see if its setup kind of like ERA...there is a balance bar between the 2 Girlings...this controls how much of the pedal gets put to the different cylinders...you can change this to give more bias to the fronts over the rears....

What you describe sounds like a much to big MC for the front brakes but I can't imagine Shelby sending the wrong one. Must be something else. Nevermind..... Or perhaps the front and rear brake lines got crossed up and are connected to the wrong MC. Nah that can't be it. I give up.
