Water wetter

I bought two bottles of Water Wetter, because the track I will be running on does not allow ethel glycol.
Now the bottle of Water Wetter says to mix it with ethel glycol. What the story. I live in Florida so I don't need freezing protection. I just want something that will get the cooling job done and provide the aditives to keep the water pumb lubricated and have some decent anti corrosion properties.

How would I mix the Water Wetter?

Not sure about this but told on a glass body car with a aluminum radiator that w w was doing a chemical thing and eating up the radiators, looking for a ground or something? L/Star was told by Griffin to stop using it?

It's not the WW that was eating up the radiators, it's not having the proper ground. A couple of years ago I bought a new Harrison Expansion tank, and by the end of the summer, one of the outlets was half eaten away. Was told I didn't have enough grounds on the car. The battery ground was on the front of the engine block. I then ran a mesh ground from the engine block to the frame, and haven't had any trouble since. They said it was reverse electrolysis...

I use Evans coolant, (www.evanscooling.com). Great protection, no glycol, no water. Evans is a waterless, non-pressurized system. If you decide to stay with water wetter, use distilled water, it's non conductive. The minerals in water gives it conductive properties.

Use the WW and distilled water along with a can of coolant system lube/corrosion additive. I have for years with zero problem (and I have brass, aluminum and iron all in the same system). If you are really worried about the corrosion, you can always hang the 'sacrificial' anode in the system.

I've used Redline water wetter with a small bottle of Bardahl water pump lubricant and distilled water, it has dropped my temp about 12-15 degrees and so far no metal missing. It's 95 here in Indonesia each and every day so we sure don't need anti freeze. As for the extra grounds, you can never have too many unless weight is a problem, then I just skip the donuts for a couple of days....Ken

When grounding the radiator, do NOT use Copper wire if you can help it. The copper and aluminum do not like each other.

A steel or SS steel strap place on the frame to the radiator will work okay, but aluminum wire would be okay also.

Water does not conduct electricity, but the particles that contaminate the water do a fine job. If you do not add the water pump lube as Rick mentioned, it would a very good idea to put ONLY distilled water in the radiator. Add WW only if you need it.
