Default Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet 2025

Dates: April 02 – April 06, 2025

Please send all requests and comments to kenswalker@gmail.com. I will not be responding the DM on Facebook or text messages. I need to keep a paper trail of all communications.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POSTING

UPDATE: TEXAS COBRA CLUB SPRING MEET 2025

I want to apologize for the delay in getting out information pertinent to the TCC SPRING MEET. There have been several contributing factors. The San Marcos Embassy Suite recently announced a full and complete remodel of the hotel which will take approximately 9 months to finish. This includes quest rooms, lobby, restaurants, and convention meeting rooms. Of course, not all quest rooms will be affected at the same time. I was notified of these upgrades about 3 weeks ago. I was waiting to see if one of the contract groups would bow out. So far, they have not.

During the time we have the Spring Meet schedule, two other larger groups are scheduled. All the three groups have had their allocation of rooms drastically reduced. Percentagewise we fared much better than the other groups.

This means that some of the Spring Meet attendees will need to stay at other nearby hotels. I am working to get these hotels under contract. The Embassy Suites has extended the cook-to-order breakfast and Manager’s Evening Reception to all TCC SPRING MEET attendees. Shuttles will be provided to move attendees to other hotels when needed.

The rules for our parking area, so far, have not changed. You will be able to leave your tow vehicle and trailer at the Embassy Suites if want. More information about that is forthcoming.

We will still have a Saturday Banquet with our VIP Guest, Alan Grant.

Please do not contact the Embassy Suites. They are booked full during our timeframe with contracted quests. As soon as possible I will be notifying you of the hotel registration website and other instructions.

I will do my best to try to accommodate everyone’s needs but this is completely out of my hands. Please be on the lookout via email and FB posting for updates and new information.

The is not the communication that I want to be sending out!

Thanks,
Ken Walker
