Cars and Coffee Continues
I noticed on several of the posts that the October event was the last for the season. In talking with the event staff clarification was made that the event will continue with no end in site. Sooooo, for those of you that know it, fine, for those that don't, FYI. Colin

That is good news...hopefully we will stay lucky on the weather. It was a very chilly drive over from Grapevine Saturday morning, but turned into a beatiful day.

I think the open cars will die down that early in the AM, but could still be a good time.

yes you're right.. I received an email reminding of the 10/31 event and noted that it was the last event of the year. Between that email and the event, they changed their mind. The decision is surprising to me, because the last Sat in Nov is Thanksgiving W/E and December, the day after Christmas..

special thank you to a special group!
My name is Eric Maas and I play host monthly for the Cars&Coffee events at Classic BMW. We enjoy sharing our parking lot with all of you in the cobra club and your participation in our event(s) is most appreciated. When the cobra's thunder in and out all heads turn.
Today, your group dropped off a Christmas surprise! Cash donations for two of our charities, LeukemiaTexas and the Alzheimer foundation!
You are wonderful people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely,
Eric Maas, President, Classic BMW

Great Venue
Good morning Eric. Francis Gabriel, who I suspect dropped off the checks, is responsible for the effort! It was his idea, his efforts and the clubs response which allowed it to happen. Personally the Venue is refreshing. A gathering of people who speak car, no judging, clean, staffed facility, good coffee and big hearts. See you end of the month. Colin

Eric,
We were happy to donate and really enjoy the Cars And Coffee event you guys put on each month. Talking to a lot of participates over the last 6 months one suggestion that keeps coming up is maybe doing one or two at night in the summer.......You have such a great lighted lot and in the heat of the summer 1 or 2 months on a Friday or Saturday evening would be of great interest. Thanks for all you do...

Mr. Maas, I would also like to thank you for the cars and coffee show. My girlfriend and I have had a great time since the first show we attended. I read the article from the Dallas Morning News about the lack of donations at the show, but also I have heard people asking where to go and donate. Maybe a table close to the front with a sign would help.
Eric
