Ed, Does your convoy permit Audis?
BTW, I can pick up the cones from Gregg since I live fairly close.

I probably will just meet you guys at Sam Hill, since it's closer to me. Joe, let me know what your plans are. I hope there will be more coming. What about the San Antonio captain with the red E-M. I'd like to compare builds.

So sorry to hear about your loss, Gregg. Blessings and prayers to you and yours.
As for the meet this weekend, I'll be in New Orleans meeting the car of my dreams for the first time.
I look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Just to remind everyone, Saturday is a "rain" or "shine" meet at Sam Hill. If you can't drive your Cobra, bring your photos to share with everyone. Hopefully Saturday will be cloudy and cool!

Where in the Sam Hill is Sam Hill's? Just in case somebody from D/FW might get lost in a time warp?

Sam Hill is located off of hwy620 between Lakeway and the Lake Travis Dam. Same side as Carlos & Charlies, and closer to Lakeway.

Another one bites the dust...
Uh-oh. Looks like I'm out now. Sorry.
If anyone was depending on me to get the cones, I can pick em up from Gregg and drop it off to you this evening. Just let me know.
Cheers.

We had 5 Cobras and 1 Pantera show up, and had a great time. The boating crowd was also exceptional, Jay (jayscobras) kept falling over his tongue watching this good looking blond in a bikini and high heels. We had to pull him out of the resturant.
We have a new member to add to the Austin Cobras, Scott Lougheed from LakeWay.
Barry Busbee has the call for the next two Austin Meets (Sept & Oct). Hopefully the weather will start to cool down to do some convoy cruising. We should see a few new Cobras at our next meet.
