Default Jan 2nd DFW meeting

I know it is only Monday, but I was wondering if the group was still looking at doing a Dinner at Lefty's again? That was real nice to do last year and I was wondering if we were going to turn it into a New Year Tradition.

We really should do something in grand fashion, since the 2nd is my birthday and all.
I can't do dinner though. Have extravagant plans to get lit, laid and loaded! I mean a real "Hangover" episode. Hopefully end up with a tiger in the room!
No, really just have a date so I can't make dinner. But maybe I'll STILL end up with a tiger in the room!

Gee Miles, I figured you more for the Elin type, but hey if that floats your boat, who am I to say anything?

I am down for whatever the consensus is. I should be able to do either. I was just wondering if we were doing the same.

lunch works with me----while we're here, anyone have a tool I can pull my steering wheel with? It doesn't have the customary holes on either side of the bolt inside.

Wink Yo Miles...

Miles,
"Tiger"? I'm sure Joe didn't understand just what is on your agenda? How old are you on the second? Will you be prepared when the moment is right for that kitty cat? Do you need (to) "see Alice"? Hmmm. Happy Birthday and many more!

I can do lunch .. will have to come in my driver, it looks like. Sssally is all tore up over a chronic oil leak. Hope today to find the exact cause, not looking good .. coming from back of block .. ugh, ugh ..

Richard, have an assistant pull on the wheel while your rap the end of the shaft with a ball peen hammer. It works better if you remove the nut first .. I'm just saying ..

Miles, happy birthday! Does your date know about the getting laid part?

My birthday present .. Sssally has a new bunk mate: Zzzelda. She still likes to be on top:

Sam,
Aren't you afraid Ssssally will mark her territory all over the new ride?

SSSammy, it can't be that simple! But you've never misled me before so I'll give it a try.

Thanks again, and great Christmas present by the way--

Yes, so I have full length trays under her. Did that when I had the vette. So I have it all tore down to the block and it's a weepy rear main seal. Called KC and talked to Tony about it. They can't promise to improve it, so just live with it till it gets worse. Oh well, I hate all the work I just did to hear that

That sucks Sam. If you need any help putting her back together this weekend, I heard talk of some car minded people getting together to throw back some food. You might be able to find them and talk a few into showing up afterwards.

Thanks, Joe and David ... I am already putting it back together. I will be putting the FW, clutch, BH, and tranny back in tomorrow (Wed). If you are off work this week, you or any T.I.T. are welcome to come by, weather permitting. Probably start around 10 am. I will attempt to have the car ready for the Sat meet.

Sam

Stuck at work this week Sam, otherwise I would be there. Let me know Saturday and I can probably come by and assist if you don't get completed before then.

Sam,

in that picture the lift looks crooked to me, about 1-3 inches high on the left. I should have read this earlier today and all I have been doing is messing around all day.

For the 2nd I think I should be able to do lunch. Have we picked a place yet? Since it is miles birthday we should do twin peaks (I think he liked that place)

See you all soon
