Thumbs up Saturday

In spite of the freezing cold, yesterday was the most fun I've had in a long time! About halfway to Grapevine, I was wondering if I had lost my freakin' mind, but Cars and Coffee was great...the lunch was great and it was cool seeing everyone again. I think we should schedule our meeting like this more often! The birthday cake wasn't bad either!

I agree Ray....it was a great day despite the cold but easy for me to say since I wasn't in a Cobra. I was surprized on many showed up in 45 degrees, damp cloudy & crappy day... Cars and Coffee has now moved to the 1st Saturday of the month like the Cobra Club lunch but there are a ton of great places for lunch in north Dallas, Plano, Frisco and even the Colony as we experiened yesterday.

It was great to meet some of you at Lunch. I look forward to the next event. Maybe it will be a bit warmer!

Cold, but fun. Pretty impressive how many of you braved that damp, cold day.

Looking forward to the day when I can bring my own Cobra to the party.

Ray - I second your feelings. Good to see/talk to you. I think we all had a little cabin fever and took advantage of the predicted hole in the clouds. I think the sun came out for about 20 minutes... right around the time that the Conti Coffee girl chatted with us.

Cafe Gecko was a keeper: $7 for blackened shrimp tacos and all the trimmings.

Great to meet Jack and his wife, and a first for us all to see a Hunter replica.

I second the sentiments above. I also want to thank Court for organizing the drive over for the West Side Gang. He always makes sure we have a place to meet and some people to "convoy" with.

Going to need the plow on the front and tire chains to get around this weekend!

We're up to 10" of snow in our area north of Dallas.
