greatest group of guys
To all that read this, Atlanta has a great group. I was looking at a car in Atlanta and Tony and mike both offered to give the car the once over.Mike checked the car out for me and now I am the owner of a "64 289 FIA cobra. I live in Houston, so you can see what a big help that was. Besides the fact that these are unbeleivable cars, it's the people that own then that make them so great. Thanks to all.

That's what is great about this sport are the people. Cobra folks everywhere to assist if needed. I had some in Ca look at a car for me many years ago and I know us here in Texas do the same. Looking forward to seeing your new FIA as I've always favored those....How about a couple pics as San Marcos is a month away....

If I get it registered in time I'll be there. When in March? Where is the best place to buy a cobra oval air cleaner?

Alex,
Now that all of your worldly dreams have come true, it is time for some out of this world fun.
Follow this link.
Hold off on buying an oval cleaner until you get your car in your driveway. I suggest making a few measurements of clearance, deck height, intake height, carb spacing, hood scoop shape, engine position relative to hood opening. The different car makes and engine customizations have different tolerances for traditional 20"+ cleaners, or the shorter non-traditional.
