Intercity Lines charged me about the same for shipping my ERA kit from New Britain, CT, to Waco, TX. They did an outstanding job.

You might check this site out: http://www.transportreviews.com/ This site rates shippers and price. I haven't shipped my car yet, but I hope to soon. The thing I'm not sure about : It seems like there are brokerages that post a transport job. Then carriers check the postings and find a car or cars that fit the truck's schedule. So it is not like you are finding a specific truck and driver company to transport your Cobra. I'm not sure I like that, but I don't know. What you say?

Alex, did you buy a car in Atlanta? I recently looked at SPO #2404, Red with grey strips. Same one? I've got some good info on that car and want to find the new owner.

I agree highly. I researched as you did, nearly went with a lower bid, checked further, and went with Intercity--great job, on schedule (even called me along the way with progress comments), absolutely no damage, and absolutely nothing missing. You get what you pay for.

From my research, Realiable is a good hauler. they haul a lot of high dollar cars. the reason for the low price, i had a friend who uses them for Porsche hauling.

FedEx
Call FedEx. they will meet and beat any offer. I had my car shipped from Ohio to Dallas, and FedEx was $200-400 less than anyone else.
It was not a dedicated delivery though. So if you're not in a rush, and can wait a few extra days, it might be worth contacting them.
