Great TCC Meet in San Marcos!
Thanks to all the Austin bunch (Dee and Jacque, Tom, DJ, Mike, Ken, Gregg and many I am forgetting) for once again putting on a great annual event, and even furnishing the best weather in years. I know there was months of work and hundreds of details to handle to get everything ready for all of us TCC members so that we could just register, show up and enjoy.
John/Jay/Gregg orchestrated an awesome track experience...I will certainly track next year if offered.
AND a personal thanks to Jay, Jim W., Ray R., Court and others who helped bail me out when I experienced some "new car" issues that might otherwise have derailed (literally) me for the weekend.
It was a blast seeing everyone.

I, too, want to thank everyone for their hard work and time spent over the past few months to make this meet one of the best ever. I have only been involved with this group for only a couple of years but I can easily call each and every one of them my FRIEND. As the meet has grown we have experienced many growing pains and made many changes to accommodate the needs of the group.
Over the next few days, while the event is still fresh on everyone's mind, I will be sending out a survey to solicit feedback for future meets. As you fill out the survey, let us know what you liked and disliked. Don't point out a problem unless you have a possible solution. As my dear ol' dad once said, "Remember if you are not part of the solution, you may be the problem."
Hats off to Dee and Jacque for handling our money and hotel arrangements, Mike M and Steve K for the awesome cruise route, Rich B for the Road Rally, Gregg for his cohesiveness of keeping things on track, and Skip S and Tom H for being johnny-on-the-spot and doing whatever was needed and then some. The rest of the Austin gang for pulling this thing off again. And, too, John Shelton for his vision and execution for pulling a wonderful track event.
Look for an email from me in a few days.
Thanks,
Ken W
