Default Enclosed Car Hauler

I want to purchase an Enclosed Car Hauler. Does anyone have one for sale or know of a good place to buy a new one?
Thanks,
Jack

Ebay has several. search for 20' enclosed trailers.

Anything shorter is difficult to get anything extra into such as tires, tools, etc.

I'm haulin' my ERA on an open trailer myself. The paint is "OK" but it has a lot of patina, it's showing it's age, so what's the worst that could happen?

Actually, that is a serious question: What IS the worst that could happen?

Check Craigs List for your area. There are almost always a bunch of Haulmarks listed.

Hi Jack,

I'm considering trading up to a larger trailer from my 18' to a 22' for my race car. I've been hauling the Cobra around for a few years now and have no problems. Tires, tool box, spare parts. It's just too tight with the Mustang. Heavy duty axles and an air conditioner.

I live near Rockwall if you want to come out and look at it.

Steve

How about a 40 ft. gooseneck 3-car hauler? Has all options and PLENTY of storage space. It is Haulmark's original Proline Show Car trailer. Heck, this thing even has air ride suspension!!! $60K

Default Low Profile Haulmark Trailer

Did anyone notice that low profile Haulmark trailer that was in the parking lot in San Marcos? Was that a stock trailer, or was it one that had been modified? I can't find anything like it on the Haulmark web site.

I think that was Max's trailer. He had the blue/white FFR from Oklahoma City.

Joe:

Court is right. That was Max's trailer. He was parked between Mike and me. He had the trailer made that way to fit in his garage. He said the only drawback was that the low height made the back ramp/door to short. He has to add ramps.

So, what's the big deal with towing your Cobra on an OPEN trailer?

...I ask again, just looking for some thoughts on that. Because you need room to haul stuff in the trailer? Because your worried about debris or stone chips, etc? Worried about theft or vandalism? What?

Larry,
Where is the nearest location to pick up one of your trailers? Can they still be picked up near Atlanta? I'm not sure the added cost to receive the trailer makes it a viable alternative for me.

BTW I saw both of the Texas Serpent Express trailers last weekend and I really like the design.

Not intending to hijack Jack's thread.

Steve you have a great trailer. It's is just to large to park behind my fence beside my house. It's a good thing it has A/C... My wife would make me live in it if I bought it from you.

Yes, Atlanta is nearest today.
The all-aluminum ones are lower Michigan.
SE-68 is being picked up April 8-9 in MI and heading for Texas next week.

If we had an "Assembler" in Texas, the dynamics would change.

So the "added cost" of long distance pickup may be worth it, unless you need an AC, tire tacks, tool bench, deluxe lighting, etc.
Then the big box is the answer.

You might also try Contiental Cargo in Waco. I bought a 24 foot enclosed a few years ago for around $6000 with tandum 5000 axles. Plenty of room and tows well.
