Put me down for one parking space.
I figure my car is just like the original except for maybe the paint job, brakes, wheels, shocks, seats, carpet, tires, engine, transmission, shifter, body, fuel tank, frame, rollbar, headlights, and maybe a couple of other things, otherwise a carbon copy. I bet when I roll in there they will say now that's original.

This should be a great show. My girlfriend just started working at Texas Legacy Bank recently. After she told me who the owner of the bank was I felt like a kid in a candy store. She hasn't seen Caroll in the bank yet but she talks to AAron all of the time. If anyone is interested, inside the bank they have some Caroll Shelby autographed items (car hood, book, wine, diecast cars) that are gonna be auctioned off. You can go into the lobby of the bank and get to bidding early, but I have a feeling the prices will sky rocket on Sat. They also said they had a lot of people bringing their cars from out of state, so I am guessing it should be a packed house on Sat. Hope to see ya'll out there.

The plan...
Let's meet at the Starbucks at Parker and Dallas North Expressway (usual place) at 9:00am and head over to the Bank at 9:30. If it's moist out, meaning puddles and damp streets, then meet at the bank as you feel comfortable. I spoke with Brenda Arnold today and she said most of the SCAT members are going to try and get there around 9:30 to 10am. This ought to be fun. Remember your chairs, sun screen, cameras, sun glasses, money for the auction, and items to be autographed...Steve S. and I will be signing souvenirs and body parts, along with Lew Spencer, Bill Neale, and others.
Speaking of real originals...anyone know how to contact George A with the real #13 Red CSX that has joined us recently? We'd love to have him lead us over to the show.

A long shot for me
Not sure yet. All depends if the body guy finishes pulling the "impact" zone out of BP #10. He originally said Friday. What's the over under on that? I'm wanting Bill Neale to sign the decals he gave me a few months ago.

Doesn't look like I will make it . I am planning next weekend's GTG though. Next Saturday is my Birthday and I want a little HP to get the blood flowing.

Clois:
You can show up any time between 10 am and 3 pm. I'm bringing my Coupe solo if you need a ride. This ought to be fun. It'll be quite a collection of Shelby creations and recreations. Mananna!

For those of you that didn't show up you missed some great cars and some even better people. Excellent turnout considering the weather Friday night. Good to see Larry, Steve, Sammy, John, and others Saturday.
