Default Unser Museum

Anyone that ever finds themselves in Albuquerque, N.M. should look into visiting the Unser Museum while you're there. You just might get to meet and talk with Al !! He owns a replica Cobra and was a really nice guy. His museum has quite a few really neat cars dating back to his Pikes Peak racing all the way up to his last Indy race. He also had his first turbo charged Indy car on display. Pretty cool..

I've always admired the Unser family for being such great racers and, as far as I know, really nice people. When I'm anywhere near new Mexico, I'll be sure and say "Hello" to Al and any others in the brood. Thanks for the heads up, Joe. Rich

if Car Museums are of interest, you should visit the Petersen Car Museum in LA during the Pacific Coast Highway cruise. AKA Petersen Publishing fame...

I would love to do the PCH cruise. Unfortunately I can't make the commitment at this time due to an unavoidable issue. I have mentioned to several members that if things work out I may try driving or trailering the Cobra out there, join you guys and then drive/trailer it back home. I'll just have to wait and see what happens between now and then. It sounds like a great time!
