2010 Fall Gathering-REGISTER by OCT 1st!!!
Are you one of the missing? :confused: Based on my estimate, 29 drivers have not yet registered for the 2010 Fall Gathering in Fredericksburg. Include 1 guest each and we are missing 58 attendees. If you have not registered, please do so by 10/1. This is a simple task that only takes a few minutes. Just click on the below link and fill out the online form. Why register? We need to know the number of attendees, especially for the 10/16 dinner. To be direct; if you are not on the registration list...no dinner for you. :mad:

My wife and I will be in Georgetown, just north of Austin the last 2 weeks of Sep. Any car shows or events going on near by? Our cobra will be staying home on this trip, but it still would be fun to see some cobras. You can send info to me at "poolw@comcast.net"

I want to go but I%/'m am still struggling with getting my car legal. I'm on the DMV waiting list to have the motor, trans, frame inspected. I may not get inspected until early Oct

Fall Gathering-Extended Registration 10/6!!!

THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO WEDNESDAY 10/6!!! 2 ROOMS HAVE OPENED AT THE HANGAR HOTEL, CALL NOW IF YOU NEED A ROOM, Ph# 830-997-9990. You must register if you are planning on attending the dinner as the quantity of food ordered will be based on registered attendees. Registration link: www.texascobrameet.com Dinner cost is $30/person. If you want to pre-pay for the dinner via PayPal please reference e-mail: tcc.2010.fall.event@gmail.com and include a message stating the payment is for the dinner. Dinner Menu Beef and Chicken Fajitas, Cheese Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Sour Cream, Flour Tortillas, Tres Leches Cake with Fresh Berries, Coffee, Hot tea and Ice tea. The $30/person charge covers the meal, tip, and conference room rental. All overage of monies collected will be donated to Operation Comfort. So while you are filling your stomach, you will also be giving to a good cause. Fredericksburg update
Can't wait, long line of Cobras snaking their way through the hill country Friday with stops in Bellville, San Marcos and Luckenbach. Here are some more details once we get there.

Started with beautifull weather, add in a wooden oil plug produced on the side of the highway and finish it with a 40's dress up dinner. It had it all!!!!

Let me explain
Not enough time, let me summize. Day 1, 300 miles, no problems**), cold beer in Luckenbach:JEKYLHYDE, Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg is AWESOME. Day 2, 275 miles, changed an alternator on one car before we left, flower pickers caught up to the rabbits, cyclists thought they owned the road, left 8 qts of oil (at least one qt on Festers car) and one drain plug on the road:eek:. No brakes going down hill, Snake Bite on my leg:CRY:, widdled a new drain plug, great party Sat night. Day 3, woke up to flat tire, breakfast at the Hangar Diner, 300 miles home. One BowTie Cobra was pushed into the rolling garage to finish the trip home:(.
What a great trip and what a great bunch of people. We met several new folks. Waco, Ft Worth, OK, CC, Houston, Sweeney, Austin 70 people.
