Hi all,

I think that everyone who attended the get together at Richard's house is in agreement about a couple of things - wooooowww!!!! that's a big - beautiful house and Richard really knows how to put on the 'feed bag' - our thanks to you and Victoria for your hospitality!!!!

Possibly, as a matter of some interest - - when Jacque and I left the car show on Saturday evening we were challenged several times by a white mustang - he would not leave us alone - and as some of you may know, Jacque is not one to let a challenge go unanswered - pretty pathetic - (almost not worth mentioning!!!)after 1st gear, over 5 car lengths behind us with Jacque graciously waving 'goodbye' - that would have to be my first 'race' with my snake - would still like to find a viper to play with - next time!!!!

Stretch - - - where are you???? We missed your new ride!!!!

Thanks again Richard and Victoria - sorry to have missed those that weren't able to make and hope to see everybody at the next gathering...........

Thumbs up

Cammer; Sorry I missed the action last Saturday night. I cruised with Richard after the car show. We had a limo full of drunks pull along side asking Richard all kinds of questions about his Cobra. I cut Richard loose at Beecaves and headed home. It was real pleasant cruising, the weather cooled down so I really enjoyed the ride.

There is a black Viper that comes to the Oakhill car show. He's always selling car cleaners and polish. Check him out.

Sunday afternoon I cruised over to Scott Lougheed's house and checkout his supercharged Excaliber and his 442 convertable. Scott has about 20 to 30 vintage cars at his RV Center in Buda. We talked about getting some Cobras together for a cruise to his place, check out his cars, and then go to a restaurant for a cool one. Anyone interested?

Scott; Start a new thread and lets plan for a trip to your place in Buda. It would be great to get a private tour!

Way to go Cammer!

Poor mustang... I know Jacque must have had to twist your arm pretty hard to get you to stomp that mustang in the dirt. Yeah, right!

Well, my hopes have been up and down so much lately, I might be Texas' newest rollercoaster! Alas, still no car. There have been some minor problems, to be nice, with the work that was done on my motor by a CA company. Doug and team at Superformance have been doing an awesome job and they've been putting in lots of overtime making sure that everything is hunky dorey.

There are still some small details to nail down but the motor now has 40 miles on it and is running like a top. With any luck at all, I'll have it this weekend.

If so, I'll definitely make the rounds! You'll hear me comin!!

Stretch
