Made it through state inspection today
Took the car in for TX state inspection today and it went off without a hitch. He asked me about my wipers, which are manual, and I turned the handle from side to side and told him they wipe and he said OK.
Went very easy. He really didn't ask me much, he just wanted to jump in and give it the "test ride"
So all that concern was for nothing. Now I've got to run the registration gauntlet.

Excellent Wayne.
Hope I can be going through that in the relatively near future.

Be sure you take the green sheet from inspection, which is really white these days, when you go to register.
Don't ask how I know.

Beautiful car!
Does anyone know: Does a Lexan windshield halt the inspection process??

Wayne great looking car, hope to see it soon. I know how you feel about preparing for the inspection process and when its all over you think wow I didnt have to use any of the stories and lies I worked on for days before. But just when I thought I was though with the process the state sent me a form letter in the mail, they didnt have the vin # in there data base and wanted proof the car was what I stated it was. Oh the joy's of owning a cobra.

No ripping up the roads today due to another ice storm in the DFW area.........but maybe a good day to go get registration since it will probably be empty.........unless you have to take the Cobra with you.

Paul...Lexan windshield has not hindered the inspection of my car except I ask them to apply the sticker to a clear adhesive backed sheet that I trim and apply to the windshield myself.

Appears you just went to a State Inspection/Emission located at a business vs the State Inspection Waver Station? I did that on all my past Cobras but was under the impression you are now suppose to go to the Waver Station. Probably makes no difference as long as you got the inspection and green sheet.
