Default The pain is over.

Thank you Gary for posting the information from CarePages.
Greg is finally at peace, without pain and home where he belongs.
I personally am a better person because I was fortunate enough to have known Greg and Vicki for more than 11 years, and I will miss him until I get to see him again. I want to thank all my Texas Cobra Club friends who stepped up here and I will not forget what you did.
I will see some of you next Saturday in Arlington.
May God bless you all,
John Russell and family

Default Thanks Gary

Well, I know where I will be next Saturday around noon. Thanks
Gary for posting this today, and it says it all.
I also want to Thank all of our many Cobra friends that took the time to both post here and send prayers in this extremely trying time.
I will keep this thread on top until I return on Saturday.
As everyone has said countless times- It's the people, not the cars and this is the proof.
Thank you all again,
The Russell Family

Enjoyed every moment with Greg and Vicky. Once did a Cruise ship with them and had a blast. Had some great times doing our Cobra events in Texas and Oklahoma. RIP my friend.

Default Missing Friend

Greg and Vicki's presence at the cobra events were the only times that Jacque and I had to share with them both.

Greg will be missed...........hopefully we will be seeing Vicki at some of our future events.

Prayers for the family during these sad times.

Dee - Jacque

Default Thanks to everyone

I want to Thank everyone who made the trip to Arlington yesterday afternoon , and for the saved seat for me. It was a very touching ceremony, and I was a bit amazed by the incredible turnout. I did catch Vicki and gave her the pictures I brought- as did Gary S, but I had to leave at the bathroom break to get home for my daughters "Cancer Free" party at our house.
Greg is without pain and waiting to see us again with open arms, that I know.

Very touching celebration for Greg last Saturday. Here is a final message from Vicki posted on the CarePages today...........God Bless!

Our family can't thank everyone enough for helping us put together and execute the truly fitting tribute to such a great man yesterday. We are overwhelmed with the support you have all given us, and will hold that closely in our hearts every day.
Yesterday was a reminder that our time here on Earth is so short, and we need to be sure and tell our true friends and family that we love them now.
And by the way, Kim received a cryptic sign from her dad this morning when the waitress delivered her eggs over-easy. He will be with us always, and we'll all be better for it.
Thank you again for your love and support. We hope to be there for you as you've been there for us.
God bless,
Vicki and Family

Dear Cobra Family,
I am still trying to crawl out of this black hole that was left when Greg departed even though I know he's "in a better place". Your messages are so uplifting and appreciated, and I hope you'll keep me in the loop on events in the DFW area. I'm unable to keep up with this website on a regular basis as yet, so shoot me an email if there's something happening. We are planning on showing (and trying to sell) Greg's gorgeous '59 Apache Truck at the Auto Rama in Fort Worth over the 4th of July -- wish us luck and stop by if you're in the area. Would LOVE to get more hugs and hear more stories. Thanks again for all of your support. I don't think I could have made it without you.
Love and hugs,
Vicki
