Default Distributorless works.Pics.Kinda long...

Many commented on how ugly or "out of place" my HEI unit looked on my Shelby. Worked well for years; lower lip of rotor wore thru a power lead. Pulled it out.

Bought one the distributorless setups for SBF

Works great. Has "waste spark" programming so I picked up a bit of an aggressive exhaust noise (maybe unspent fuel on exhaust stroke?). A smidgen of detonation but adjusted the timing to dial it out.

Nice and clean.

Will do it again on the Keith Craft SBF/8-stack EFI in my LoneStar.
Hardest part was making the little stanchions to go beneath the base of the coil packs.
My LoneStar will have the coil packs inside under the dash.

Fun project. Glad it worked. Now need to get rid of some HEIs...

Ran my 428 distributorless. I had to have a cam sensor custom made but the coil pack were nice.

where did you get the distributor? I am running mine with a custom build sensor and don't think it is working correctly and want to replace it.

I know people hate back to back posts... but I found it Compu-Tronix. Electronic Ignition Systems not sure it will work with my efi system.

looks nice but $600 bucks? wow. should be a cheaper way to do it. you would think with all the graphs they would have a comparison with conventional ignition.
