On Saturday evening I received an email alert notifying me that ticket reservations had opened. I submitted my deposit via PayPal and on March 1 those who have submitted deposits are offered the first purchase option on personal seat licenses in the order the deposits are received. The notice says PSLs will be between $1000-$5000 each. The email says general tickets will go on sale in "late summer."

when the '99 f1 race tickets were offered a few of us had in at the earliest possible time for some premium seats. didn't get them, but instead offered something in the general stands. i believe the premium stuff is offered to corporate types and the like. i'd still like to go!

It seems already pretty hard to find reasonably priced hotels in Austin. I don't know if that is because people are already making reservations or if the system just isn't projecting out that far ahead.

Either way, my wife always wanted to visit San Antonio, so that's where we've booked a stay in November.

Now if they'd just release GA seats for purchase . . .

me and the then wife got there early and camped out on the grounds. got there before everyone showed up and got to walk around and see everything and didn't have to fight the crowds, kind of funny cause people would look at you to see if they could tell you were assoc. with the f1 crowd. we left early also as schuey was quite a ways in the lead, couldn't believe the number of cars and where they were parked, everywhere!
