Coming to TX from NC
Just arriving in Dallas area (Plano/Allen/McKinney) from Concord NC. Have a Factory Five Roadster. Had a great Cobra community around the Charlotte area, and I'm hoping to meet up with the local groups here in TX...........

Welcome to the D/FW area Matt.
There are several FFR's here locally, you'll fit right in.
The Dallas group gets together on the 1st Saturday of each month. Great group of guys. Keep an eye on this section of the forum, there is usually a post on Wednesday or Thursday just prior setting the time and location.
See you around...
John

Welcome Matt,
If you are going to be in the Plano, Allen & McKinney area you will have at least a dozen or so cars within a stones throw. Watch this thread on a regular basis there will be a lot more activities this fall, when it gets a little cooler, than the regular monthly gathering on the 1st Saturday. We do a lot of spur of the moment cruises and in October we like to cruise down to the National BBQ Cookoff in Meridian, TX The National Championship Barbecue Cookoff 1.
See you soon.....

Welcome, Matt!
Beautiful car.
You are on your way to being a native Texan. It requires 10-years of sustained Texas residence, a pair of cowboy boots, and a nice belt buckle. And tho it is not part of the official Native Texan repertoire, I think anyone who wants to be a native Texan should have to go to a BUCK-EEs in Texas and explain all of the people in there.

Welcome
Hey "Tar Heel"
Welcome to Texas! You're going to love living here. Try and make it out to the September breakfast meeting. You'll find several FFR owners, and a lot of really great guys and gals. Tell us about your car and yourself.

Welcome, Matt! I'm in McKinney. We have a very active local DFW club. We use this forum to communicate, so you have found us. Here's a tip to get you started on being Texan ... when people ask you what shade of red your stripes are ... the correct answer is "Aggie Maroon"

Hi Matt
1st - you'll have to straighten everyone out - You may be from the Tar Heel, but you can't possibly be a Tar Heel... Maybe a fellow Wolfpack - they know cars.
2nd - Welcome, I made the journey in '83. Been here since. July, Aug, and Sept are pretty rough weather wise, but I am hoping you left the humidity behind.
