AER Toy Run - Saturday December 3rd
AER Toy Run is scheduled for Saturday - December 3rd.AER
Manufacturing
1605 Surveyor Blvd.
Carrollton, TX
John Shelton suggested we do Jakes in Addison for lunch as they are big supporter of "Operation Confort" and then head over to the Toy Run from there. If the weather is nice could consider some cruise after the Toy run stop.
Thought I'd get this posted now as the holidays will be here shortly.....
UPDATE: LUNCH AT CHAMPPS IN ADDISON PER FOLLOWING POSTS>>>>
. Meet 10:30am and go in for Lunch at 11:00am followed by run over to AER Toys For Tots!

Man we have done Jake’s at least a half dozen times this year. Their breakfast, even though they have pretty good burgers, left a lot to be desired I suggest we do something new; something a little more original for December.

John actually suggested Jakes for last Saturday for some of us not going to Ponder and we ended up at the Brickhouse so thinking because of their contributions to the March event we head back there for December lunch as it's close to AER but doesn't matter to me. The tradition was always Champs for lunch then to AER by 1 pm. Something else we could consider is go to AER around 10:30-11am first then cruise somewhere for lunch. Never know what the temps will be in December so that might work even better....Last year we went to the Motorcycle place "Strokers" for lunch then many of us shot up to AER.

I really enjoyed Strokers. I would vote for that again.

Prior Proper Planning Prevents Pi$$ Poor Performance
Strokers is a great place except they only have one George Foreman grill and it takes forever to get your food. Norma's Cafe at Trinity & the Toll Road (NW corner) has great food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus it's right down the Toll Rd. from Cars & Coffee.
Cars & Coffee...Lunch @ Norma's....AER Toy Drive... WHAT ARE WE DOING? PLANNING AHEAD? What happened to the two day notice?
We are in for two where ever. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Guys,
Several of us met for lunch last weekend and agreed to do lunch at Champps in Addison (On Beltline - West of Dallas North Tollway) since it was the tradition for many years and we have been to Jakes a lot this year. I confirmed with Champps. Meet between 10:30-11:00am and go in for lunch at 11:00am followed by run over a couple miles to AER for their Toys For Tots Toy Run.

As of right now, we are in for both of us showing up. So PLEASE prepare yourselves, I may actually make 3 in a row for what may be the first time since I joined this Motley Crew. Plus the wife is really starting to enjoy it, so that makes it easier. As of right now I will not be working that Saturday.

Bring an unwrapped toy for AER
I plan to attend.
Reminder, we will caravan over to AER after lunch and drop off toys.
If the weather is bad, come anyway in your daily driver and bring a toy.

Saturday: 55 degrees and chance of rain. I reserve the right to evaluate Saturday morning. If so, only one chair this time.
I also think the SPF is having right front bearing "issues".
