Default Looking for a particular Cobra

Hello, I am looking for a McCutchen Roadster that was ordered by a man in Texas back between 1979 and 1981. It was produced and built in Colorado by Jim McCutchen and is one of the 50 cars that he produced from his tooling prior to retiring the tooling in 1983. The car I am looking for was built with a 426 Hemi and only 1 seat. Jim believes the mans first name was Jay or Ray. If anyone knows of this car or even heard about it would you please email Mark at replikitz@gmail.com or call 720-988-3480
Thank you for any info you may have.

You could look here and see if any of the phone numbers are any good. It does not say what year this add was posted.

Terry,
Thank you but this much I knew because I am now the proud owner of the McCutchen tooling and am in the process of setting up to start producing them again under the name of Stage II. What I am looking for are 47 of the cars that Jim built. I know where 3 of them are as a matter of fact the one in the add, the very first car he built which has 114,000 miles on it is coming into the shop to have the restoration finished with a few of the updates that I am making to the new cars added to it. The last car he built, in 1983 is still here in town with it's original owner and the 3rd one that I have located is up for sale at classicautoworx.com in Arizona. It was built in 1981 and 82 as I was told by the original owner and builder, not 83 as they have it listed but it was freshened in 2010 by it's present owner. I do not know where it is but one of them was put upside down for a fair distance before coming to rest and was sent back to McCutchen for repairs and the only thing that it needed was a roll bar, windshield and frame because it was ground down as was the roll bar and some minor repairs to the top of one of the front fenders. The windshield and roll bar kept it up.

Thanks again.
Mark

I have a Mccutchen cobra but do not know very much, except I sent Jim a photo awhile back and he said he did build it. Would like to know history of car or Jim Mccutchen.
Thanks, please call Rick 805-300-8907
