Back on the streets!

Finally got my windshield wipers fixed and, after a couple of tries, got inspected. I was expired! Anyway, motored around in the beautiful weather. Wow, what a day. Got lots of comments, as usual.

For those that have the Lucas motor set up, if your WWs cut out, it may be that the wires on the back got pinched and grounded to the chassis, depending on how you were mounted.

So my WW quitting on the way to Austin had nothing to do with all that rain and everything to do with how the motor was installed. Bummer.

I now know more about how those ^&$% WW work than I ever wanted to. Who says getting a turnkey will leave you blissfully unaware of ever detail of how the car is built! Not me.
