Default Saturday Outing BBQ Ribs - Country Tavern

Anyone interested in cruising down to Tyler for a few BBQ ribs at the Country Tavern? A little over 200 miles round trip?

I was planning to attend an Open House at the NTCC Shelby Performance school in Mount Pleasant. A chance to go to the Tavern for ribs just changed my plan.
Count me in for 2 seats.

I have family coming to town so I'm out.

I sent a message to a guy in Tyler who might want to join in though.

Gary,
You may finally make this happen. I can probably meet you there.

Dang, I already have plans for Saturday. I am starting my restoration project in my Dad's memory. I would have loved to go though.

I'm still in. Love them ribs and the beer is cold cold. I plan to leave GP around 10 and make a leisurely stroll across Hwy 80 to Hawkins and then South to The Tavern. I know of one other car going if anyone still wants to go.

Kenny,
Did you make it to the Tavern Saturday? I was coming to meet y'all and had an electric issue so didn't make it.

Greg:

I missed your question. Yes, we made a day of it, had a great lunch, and a great cruise. Surprised to pull up and see Bwana's car sitting at the front door. He completed his honey-dos early and beat us there.
Hate to hear you had troubles and hope it wasn't too serious.
Ribs were great and the beer was cold........as usual.
We'll do it again.
