Default New FFR Type 65 Coupe arrived today

Hi Gang:

My new Coupe arrived today. Turned out getting the car on to a 4 post list was a bear. The delivery truck driver (Bob of Stewart Transport) was amazing. We had to devise a way to lift the back of the car onto the jack stands on the lift. This meant we could not just roll the car in place and use a floor jack.

Anyway...with the help of Bob and a bunch of my family, we got it done. Now...how do I get the body off?

Jerry

Jerry, looks great! Looks like you'll have fun with the build. And you have Mike helping too! I guess that means you'll have to help him take his off the truck.

Gordon...yep. It took a village to get this thing on the lift, so I owe him.

John:

No problem. Maybe we can get together at the next lunch/breakfast. BTW, how is your engine situation?

Hi Guys:

I am going with a traditional dark blue / white stripe combination. I think Mike wants to use the same color he has on his roadster.

Sounds good, I'll be looking for the post on the time and location.
Ford Racing has the engine and I'm waiting to hear from them.

Default Daytona, like no other...

Jerry:

'Got infected when you sat in mine? Congrats! Your choice of traditional color is a message of keeping the heritage alive. Remember, there were only 6 ancestors. I can't wait to see the finished masterpiece.

Larry:

Yep...sitting in your car was the final straw. It is going to be fun with Joe Stone, my brother Mike and me all building Coupes. We will probably drive you crazy looking at your car at all the meetings!

You are correct about the traditionalist perspective. I am trying to choose which number to put on the car that works.

Thanks,
Jerry
