Default Friday lunch with Dean

My good friend and fellow racer Dean Lampe will be staying with me Thursday night and Friday. For those of you who have not met Dean, you should take this as an event to meet a truly great guy and a cobra, mechanic, builder, driver and car set up guru. I have known Dean for about ten years now and still learn something from him every time I am around him.

We are not too limited on time restraints so this could be a great possibilty for learning...either at lunch or my shop later or just pizza at the shop for all.

If you are interested tell me and I will decide on the venue which is most convienient to all.

Sammy, retirement is probably in since he knows Dean. Gary S. let me know.
J0hn S. don't let this pass. All are welcome.

Jay

Sammy,

Your wife must be a saint and filled with the patience of Job! Jus kiddin of course. Congratulations on you long and happy marriage!

"If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Drive a Silver Cobra and Marry a good wife... "

I seem to recall that song on the radio a few years ago...I am sure those were the lyrics.

If its Friday, it must be Mexican, but of course we could break from tradition in honor of Dean... I'm working on availability, tweaking Friday's schedule with a big hammer.

Lay down the plan.

Clois, shouldn't you be in the garage? Aren't both of your cars still up on jacks?

Those that know me well know that I have some "issues" with food that is white (well not just white, there are a lot of rules about food). I don't know, its something I've been meaning to work on. There, now it's out there. I feel so much better.

Jay, thank you very much for hosting. I'll give you a calll after my first meeting, say about 2pm.

Default here's the plan

Lunch at 12:30 at the Wild Turkey on Walnut Hill and Ables (two lights east of I35 on Walnut Hill) or meet at my shop at noon and go over together. Shop for you that don't know is 2452 Fabens Unit L. Just about five blocks north of the turkey.

If you go to the Turkey first just tell the tall bartender with the big boobs you are with me If you get lost or need anything call me at 972-742-2594.

See ya'll then

Jay

Sam, you don't need a stool, just bring your engine stand.
