Fred - after a nice 11 hour nap, we unloaded the trailer yesterday (Saturday 11/24), all is tucked away in the garage. Today is the honey-do list, i.e., getting down Christmas lights and decorations - so the cobra build will have to start next weekend I guess since the first half of the car is now officially in Texas, its time to end this thread and start a build thread next weekend.... let the adventure begin!

Bob, nice picture frame! I still can't get over how good the body looks. I had to re-build the area for the head lights and yours looks like the head lights will slip right in. Also, I had a lot of filling and sanding to do before starting to paint. You'll enjoy the build and if you have questions, don't forget the HM site has a wealth of prior knowledge and plenty of willing help. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Dusty - A little distraction called J.O.B. keeps getting in the way .. I haven't been in the garage since we got back home

I'm on vacation Dec 22 to Jan 2 and plan on getting a good start then.

Kevin, they are Trigo 15" - the standard widths for Hurricane. They look darker in the picture than they actually are. I'll post more pics after I unbox all of them.

John, now that I have the wheels I can really get rolling, finishing up all the brake and fuel hard line (clearances), e-brake cables, finish mounting trunk and cockpit tub, get the frame on the ground with the tires.

Fuzz.... I admit I am about two years late with my build site, but I *promise* its coming before EOY ... I'm just so slow with this build, I fear being chastised... you know how that goes

What, like someone saying 'damn you're slow, what the hell is taking so long' or something like that?

Why... we would never say such a thing.

Slow, I'm breaking records here, mine was delivered on May 23rd, 2007 and the body still isn't on. At least there isn't moss growing on it yet, but then, the rainy season just started.....you've got lottsa time
