Default Looking for a good repair shop

Hello, I live in Dallas and just took delv on a Shelby American CSX8000 car. Does anyone know of a good repair shop in Dallas that knows Cobras and could take care of the car when needed. Thanks George

George,

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to Club Cobra! There are a few of us that have the little 289 leaf spring cars – me included. Is yours 8016? Just a guess…

Wish I could help you out with a repair shop referral but I’m in Houston. Oh, one more thing. Most of us won’t believe you unless you post photos

Regards,
Kurt

Default looking for repair shop in Dallas

No it's CSX8050, see attached photo. Pro 289 running 2 four barrels. Nice car but need to find a local Dallas shop to take care of it from time to time. Love Houston lived there off and on for 20 years. George

It’s beautiful George. I have the FIA (see my photo gallery) but I’m also very fond of the slabside. Let me know if you’re ever in the neighborhood – I’d love to see it!

Thanks

Definitive Motorsports (ex-C&S), Rob Camp is the mechanic with the Cobra skill sets. Many of the Dallas Cobra community have used Rob for years.

They are in Plano, on Plano Parkway at Ave K. Phone is 972-578-3550. I use them exclusively.

Sam

Hi George

I have heard good things about Rob Camp at Definitive Motorsports.
Michael at Lamborghini Dallas has worked on all of my Cobra's since I bought them a few years ago. He has worked on the engine, fans, radiator, carbs, Dash, interior and always does a great job and gets the car back to me pretty quick. He has been with Lamborghini Dallas for 10 years and Ferrari Dallas for 10 years and then he worked at RUF Porsche for about 4-5 years.
His number is (888) 286-2674

I too have found Rob Camp to be a dependable and honorable source for repairs.
