Gary,

What's the course through DFW?

I am planning to take an intercept heading to meet up with the North-Easterners as you cross IH-30 or Forest Lane.

John,

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=P...ra=ls&t=m&z=10

Meet the Westside group at Starbucks in Cleburne.

For those that have not done this before you will get to eat some of the best BBQ ever, go hungry.

Well I would love to join the adventures on the southern fringes for a change, but we will be in Maui, Hawaii then - celebrating 25 years of married bliss ...

Sounds like a plan is in place.
This is my first trip to the BBQ Cookoff, but Meridian is an easy ride.
If we plan to depart White Rhino Coffee by 8:30am, continuing South on 67, we should reach Alvarado (67 & 35W) by 9am.
From there, we will continue South on 67 to Cleburne where we will turn South on Hwy 174 to Meridian. Once in Meridian (10 - 10:15am), we will turn West (right) on Morgan Street, then South (left) on Fuller Street, and finally, West (Right) on River Street to the BBQ Cookoff area.
Anyone have suggestions on parking areas? Or we can figure it out when we get there.
