fall event nov. 10 conclusion

hey guys
wow,what a day! the weather was gorgeous! up early to meet those attending the show and shine at bob lacy's and when i get there about 15 cars are waiting. jim, gail and l pull in and line everyone up along the entrance to the dealership and before you know it one car after another keeps pulling in. all toll we end up with about 40 cars! one other local cobra shows up. after a get togethor around 12 i invite anyone thats interested to join in the cruise around the bay. no takers, as several chose the cowboy cheer leaders- in town at a local chevy dealership sale. can't understand why? jim, gail and i took off on the cruise. stayed under the speed limit, except for a few bursts of power here and there. great drive and finally i had a running partner for my cruise. stopped for seafood in rockport and then continued the cruise coming back via the ferry. got sunburned, plenty of honks, thumbs up, pictures, even some taking videos! nothing like a couple of cobras to get peoples attention. wish we had more. we'll do it again next year. a special thanks to gail and jim for coming down in their beautiful silver 428 everett-morrison. look forward to seeing everyone in feb.
