Default Good Guys Car Show

I'm thinking about attending the show this weekend. For those of you who have attended in the past, any tips on attending? Is there a particular spot for Cobras to park or do they just direct you to the next available spot. Saturday the best day to attend?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
David

I'm going and will have the cobra there. I haven't taken the cobra before but I have been the last two years. Previously, the cobras were in the buildings past the vendors. I don't remember what it was called - Mighty Muscle or something similar. I think they also have a parking area for home-built. You have to register at the hotel across the street. I'm guessing they will tell you where to park.

I may go out there for a little on Friday, but will spend most of my time there on Saturday.

Gents,

Hove gone several times in my Cobra; here are some tips:

1. Register at the hotel mentioned on the web site, the registration is typically in the ballroom at the far western end of the hotel. Easy-takes 5 minutes. You'll see a parade of rods going to and from-can't miss it.

2. From the hotel driveway, turn right on to 114 then left into the TMS entrance about 1/4 mile east on 114.

3. Follow the signs for participants. You will come to the infield road. There will be a rep checking your credentials. Then turn right and proceed through he tunnel to the infield. If you want to park in one of the special areas (I have parked in Mighty Muscle), they are located at various points along the main infield road to your left. Just look for the signs. "General" participant car parking is along the main road as well or to your immediate left in a huge parking lot-cant be missed.

I am doing the autocross which is located all the way down at the end of the infield road to the left.

It is a great event-the variety and quality of cars there is beyond belief.

I was planning on participating in the autocross on Friday, but may have a conflict. Might be able to do Saturday if Friday doesn't work out. Hope to see you guys there.

There is a section called "home built". You usually get a T-shirt that says something like that.
