I was wondering if I had to buy another car before I'd see someone call a GUMBALL.
OK Russell or Tice, empty seat let me know?

I'm in if I can find a sitter for the kids.
If that possible,
I'll need directions.

Paging Rich A
Rich A. - do I have your name on the TCC roster? Maybe I do and just don't know it. Anyway - I have a picture of your FFR and wanted to match it up on the web site with your name. I was planning on putting your car on the TCC home page next month. e-mail me if you want to.

AAARRRGGGHHHH.......Dang Lucas starter switch!!!
Tom, Gary S, Keith & Rich, Dick & Matt(maybe),
Here we have nice cool weather, sunny skys & a BEAUTIFUL day ahead, and I have been outwitted by a really simple ( & probably cheap) Lucas starter switch!! I had a feeling it was going out last Tuesday when I drove up to pick Drew up to go to the SCAT meeting. Sure enough, after I dropped him off & turned south on Hillcrest, wnen I crossed over a RailRoad track thats probably not 200 yards away, the D#%$ thing gave up the ghost. This has happened once before, so I knew ALL I had to was hold the switch in the ON position with my left hand- with only about 1/64" play between off and start! Then ALL I had to do was drive home, which is about 9-10 miles South on Hillcrest, driving & shifting with my right hand.........nnnnooooooo problem!! I ordered two switches Wednesday, but unfortunately they have not come in yet, but I will not have this problem again. So far, I have completely destroyed the old on that first went out trying to "fix" it without luck..oh well, I just don't think it was meant to be for me, at least today!!
Rats!!
The rest of you guys have fun, so I guess I'll just go watch Lyndsie at her Dallas Assault VolleyBall Club practice this afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
Rats!!

That sound cool!
Dick about being on the TCC roster.
I'm not sure if I'm on the list.
As for putting my Cobra on the TCC home page,
That sounds GREAT!
Still no baby sitter yet.
I have my fingers crossed.
I'm waiting for a phone call as we speak.

You guys were pretty quick on the trigger today! I got to El Presidentes hacienda at 1:10 and the lady across the street said you had been gone about two minutes. I had no idea where to go. Oh, well, what the hey!

Sorry we missed you Ray , we had a really great time. It was an absolutely beautiful day, clear blue sky and temperature in the mid 70's. Tom (El Presidente), Gary Morris, Steve and Carrie Parks and myself made up the group. We left Tom's house and headed up through Addison for a quick trip through the tunnel with four thundering Cobras all turning about 6k RPM's! What a site and sound.
From there we continued down Preston to Northwest Hwy. with a short stop at Keller's for a libation. Then we took a tour around White Rock Lake and headed over to Love Field and Southwest Airlines Flight Training Facility. Little Greg was just getting off work and arranged for the group to tour the facility. We were treated like VIP's, with preferred parking of the Cobra's right in front of the building with a Security guard. The tour was so neat and included us all going into a 737-300 simulator. Thank you Greg!
We finished with Greg joining us for the drive back to Tom's house with his Cobra, for a total of five.
A great day to be out and about with the cars.
Jim
