Default December Meeting - 12/1/01

Little Greg did such a fine job with last month's meeting that I (Big G) decided to copy him. Food was great and parking superb, so we are going back to Hartford's Sports Bar in Lewisville. Directions are: I35E to Corporate Dr. exit 449. Right on Lakepoint Dr. Then take a right between Hearthside Suites Hotel and Extended Stay America Hotel. We can secure parking in FRONT of the restaurant (great exposure!) if we get there by 10:30 am. My cell phone is (817) 946-6889 and home is (817) 461-5606 if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing you this coming Saturday!

Don't worry Mom! I plan on being there in plenty of time. I've been missing my hugs. Did you run out of airline tickets to Vegas?

It was a beautiful day and 13 Cobra's showed up. Allan Drewery had his 427 Thunderbolt there as well. Great day for Cobras to be out. Anyone take pictures to post?

Wow, you guys have some nice rides. Looks like you had a good turnout as well. How often do you get together and can we come if we've not pick up my kit yet?

Greg - of course you are welcome. We generally have about 30 - 40 people show up on good weather days and around a dozen Cobras. Always a good time. First Saturday of the month - rain or shine.

Greg,

Everyone is welcome, whether you currently have a Cobra or not. We try to meet on the first Saturday of each month. For breakfast in the warm months, and lunch or brunch during the cooler months. You should definitely plan to attend our annual event in Austin the last week of February. We should have close to 50 Cobra's this year from all over the state. It's a neat event and lots of fun.

Watch for a post on this forum for our January meeting. You can search in the Texas Cobra Club section for some info already posted on the February event.

Thanks Jim,

We will definately make the Austin event. Sounds like fun. I've been browsing your online manual...nice Job. I was out at LS last week and met Steve, all New Yorker no? Looks like I'll be orderin' up next week. Going to S%$# going outta town for the holidays if that kit's sittin in the garage. I may skip Christmas with the family...hmmm, wonder if Tammi will let me, bet not.

Oh well, thanks for making me feel welcome!
