Thumbs up I did it! An LS427 is mine!!!!

And I just had to tell somebody!

I just put down my deposit on my LS427 kit!!! I am rockin! I hope to be picking up the first stages next week, If I make it back into town before I have to leave for the Holidays.

Is it just me, or is it normal to get this excited?? I am bouncing off the walls!

Just want to say thanks to Brian and the guys out at LoneStar for putting up with me. They are a swell group of guys!

Gotta go clear out a spot in the garage!!!!

Cool

Pidler,

Congratulations! As a fellow Lone Star owner, I'm willing to provide assistance during your build, if you need it. Just ask. It's not uncommon to be bouncing off the walls at all. We all have been there.

Any way, Happy Holidays and fun building your dream!

Jim

Default Pidler - your membership

Pidler - congrats on the ordering your car. E-mail me your membership info again. I guess I lost the info somewhere between the office and home.

Unhappy LS427

I also have a Lonestar 427 kit. I have had a ton of problems with it. I suggest that before you leave the "hanger" you check EVERY ITEM on your invoice. I have left with wrong parts and missing parts etc. I would also think about replacing alot of the grade 5 hardware with grade 8 hardware. Lowes and PEP boys have the grade 8 stuff. John Woodard is a great resource also . I suggest checking out his website,

Give me a call if you need some help. (like the "Detailed" instruction book isn't enough.

I'm in Carrollton

Default Tons of problems?

Nice to hear from you Todd...Hope we can get together. I've talked to the full gamet of LS owners...from folks who love them to those who don't. Guess I'll just have to take my chances.

Did you build yours yourself? How do you like the BB in it? You say you have had tons of problems....what kind of problems? Chassis? Suspension? Wiring? Manufacturer?

I'll definately be looking for all the help I can get!

greg
