Seriously? None is interested in this Coupe for sale. Street legal and ready to drive here in Texas. Guess I should look at a different venue for more options.

Did you post it in the for sale section? I never saw a coupe for sale.

Posted it on the Factory Five forum, guess there is not a lot of interaction between these two websites. It is a Gordon Levy build Coupe. Please check it out.

Post it on Cobra Country. That's where the buyers go to find cars.
Most of the people who spend time on the two sites you mention already have their cars.

There are some folks who look on the For Sale section of CC - that's how I found my car. Post it there, with multiple photos for best results.

I have observed the sale of two FFR coupes. Both nicely constructed. One of them won best in show at Knotts in 2008.
Both took a long time to sell. And by a long time, I mean years because price was too high.
Best bet is to list everywhere you can and be very flexible on the price if you want a quick sale. Daytona coupes have a very small customer base and timing is everything.
Good luck.
FYI, there's an SPF coupe on CC that sold in three weeks for $105k and there is a beautiful FFR coupe with a Keith Craft all aluminum 427 that has been reduced to $55k with no takers. In my opinion, the FFR is just as nice as the SPF, but the buyers say no.

years ago, a friend was in the market for a Daytona coupe replica and we looked at FFR cars. the overall construction of the car looked "cheap" . (we only looked at home builds. maybe a pro shop knows how to build them right). FFR just looked like a "kit car"

I have seen FFR cars that were absolutely stunning, and I have seen CSX4xxx cars that were kind of crappy. You can't go by the name....

I opened this to see a picture or two of the coupe.
Did I miss something?
Is there another post with the sales pitch?

Nope, you don't get to see the car itself. All you can hope for is to find some less than clever banter.

thanks for the link, cycleguy55.
no wonder he can't sell it, he's asking $59K.
drop the price to $35K
the FFR interior and engine bay doesn't look as nice as a superformance coupe

Compared to the red FFR coupe on cobra country, which hasnt sold for $55K, this one is definitely not worth the $59K asking price.
For some reason, FFR coupes just don't command a fair price on the resale market.
If he wants a relatively quick sale, I think the $35K range is probably fair, though he isn't going to like it.

Get it appraised. That always helps the selling price ...
Seriously, 40s would be lofty. As others have pointed out already. There's not a lot of actual sales data to go on.

Not likely a true litmus of the market as most appraisal companies only do replacement value and not current market appraisals

Well, there is, but it does not bode well for the OP. It's that whole apples and oranges thing.

I sold mine for $59K and James Yale sold his for almost $80K so if you have a nice ride take the time to get your photo's right and post your Coupe on Cobra Country. Pay the $300 or so to have Curt Scott help you. I sold mine in 3 days and I immediately got a call from Peter Brock telling me I sold it too cheap. By the way I can varify the conversation and email I had with Peter Brock (I thought it was someone pulling my leg at first too).
In short you know what your car is worth to you which is probably more than it is worth to someone else but settle on a price and be willing to dicker a couple thousand. I learned something a long time ago and that is if something is listed too low it invites skepticism and people tend to stay away. Looking at your Coupe I would think $50K might be a fair price.

I was kidding on the appraisal... Price seemed to reflect those bloated classified ads... "Appraised at 90k, asking 42."
