Texas Cobra Club - Annual Membership Rollcall
It is that time of year again to clean up & correct our TCC membership roster. It appears that our ranks have almost doubled in the past 12 months. Last January, there were 90+/- vs. 179 today. Tom, Jay, Stretch – did you ever in you wildest dreams envision almost 200 members??
Help me out – go to:
https://texascobraclub.com/members.htm
Check out your information…name, city, car description, ClubCobra name and e-mail link. If you point your cursor over your ClubCobra name, it should show your e-mail link. There were a lot of cars bought, sold, ordered and completed last year and some changes in e-mail during the year.
If you want a picture of your car on the TCC web site or a link to your personal web site, I can handle that too. Just e-mail me your picture or web site URL. Also, if you know someone has moved away (I believe Robert Barr moved out of state) or someone that should be dropped from the roster, let me know. No sense in keeping people on the roster that are not interested or don't participate. Reply back to let me know your status.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Austin!!

Reporting in As ordered!
Dick,
Everything is ok on myside. Hopefully this is the year I can:
1. Get my $$,$$$ from RUCC and get a new kit ordered and delivered.
2. Drive the wheels off the thing.

MY HATS OFF TO YOU
DICK, ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU SO FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB WITH THIS.
TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, I CAN'T SPEAK FOR TOM, WHOM I MET FOUR YEARS AGO NEXT MONTH OR STRETCH, WHOM I MET IN PERSON THE DAY BEFORE OUR FIRST EVENT. I AM SURE THAT NONE OF US EXPECTED TCC TO BECOME WHAT IT HAS IN SUCH A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. I DO THINK THAT WE ALL KNOW NOW THAT EVEN ALMOST 200 MEMBERS IS NOT ENOUGH.
FOUR YEARS AGO, TOM AND I CRUISED TOGETHER THINKING WE WERE THE ONLY ONES OUT THERE. THEN CAME STEVE PARKS, GARY AND SUE MORRIS IN TULSA AT THE MID AM, ALAN AND DONNA DREWRY, JAMES AND JEANIE BALDWIN WAITING FOR THEIR CAR, CLAY FUGATE BY WAY OF HIS DAD AND AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE, ETC, ETC, ETC.
IT WASN'T WHAT WE DREAMED, IT WAS A DREAM THAT WASN'T BIG ENOUGH. THE LOVE FOR THE CARS SHORTLY BECAME OUTWEIGHED BY THE LOVE OF THE PEOPLE. IT WAS A DREAM THAT HAPPENED TO GROW THE WAY A VEHICLE IS BUILT. GARY MORRIS TOLD US ABOUT A NEW WEB SITE CALLED CLUB COBRA. WE THEN HAD WATER FOR THE ROOTS. AND THEN ALONG CAME STRETCH AND WE HAD FERTILIZER TOO. THEN THE SUN SHINED ON IT ALL IN AUSTIN AND NOW LOOK HOW IT GROWS AND THRIVES.
AUSTIN WILL ALWAYS BE AUSTIN. IT'S THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE AUSTIN SO GREAT IN FEBRUARY. IF I HAVE ONE WISH IT IS THAT EACH AND EVERY PERSON, MEMBER AND NON-MEMBER, REALIZE THIS. THE CARS ARE A BONUS AND I HOPE WE HAVE A HUNDRED. I HAVE SEEN CARS...BUT HAVE NEVER MET ONE.
AUSTIN IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL OF US THERE. IF YOU ARE NOT, YOU WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY EVERYONE.
SEE YOU THERE
JAY

Holey snakepoop, Batman.
You're right Dick....never imagined that we'd go from 70 people and 40 cars to almost 200 people and over 100 Cobras in two years.
What a blast this has been, and will continue to be!!
Thank you so much for being a great membership director and keeping us all in line.
And of course, thanks to Brent Mills for making this all possible
As for my stuff, my new email is swilliams@kalistousa.net and the engine is a 545 vs. a 514
Can't wait to see the silver bullet in February!

Good catch Dave. Dick, where be I ?
BTW, can you make some of this information dynamic? I ask because Tony's engine has changed, and continues to do so as a function of time, weather, and other mystery factors.

Dick, I need to add Mrs. Kountzecobra's name to my info: Linda, a true Godess who also bleeds Ford Blue. I don't know how I could have omitted her when I registered! Will try to take Cobra pictures soon. Later, David.

Thanks, no changes for me. Getting caught in a recent RIF (dang telecomm industry! ) may give me some free time to catch up on my build. Hope to see y'all in Austin.
