Default How about a Sonic meet in Round Rock?

There is a really big Sonic in Round Rock just off of I-35. Go East on Louis Henna (1325) about one block by the new HEB across from Dell. It sits on top of a hill overlooking I-35. Thought this would be a great place to hookup.

Anyone interested? When?

I love to do it this weekend, but I'm going to New Braunfels this Saturday. They are having their first ROAM's Car Show and Swap Meet from 9:00am to 5:00pm. See: www.roam-markets.com Sundays are not good for me with our church activities. Maybe next weekend if the weather is good.

Ren,
The weather is supposed to be awesome tomorrow with highs in the mid 70's. Possible rain by the end of the weekend. I think I may just take her out for lunch tomorrow (Wed). Call me if you wanna meet up.

I was just thinking that this would be a great hangout for "whenever" we want to meet.

Jeff, I'll be out today. About 2:30 and heading...who know's where? I may strole up and down I-35 a bit to work the bugs out. I don't want to stray too far from the pit in case I need to call for help. My cell # is 633-7373

Ren,
Sorry I didn't look at your post before I left. Rich and I made a Hill Country drive as a tester for the Poker Run this afternoon. It was a good run that lasted less than 2 hours without any stops. Hope things worked out on your ride.

The car ran like a scalded cat !!!!
I have a slight temp issue with the car running at 210 degrees but thats not bad at all. I'll flush the radiator this weekend.

Ran from Georgetown to Round Rock, up to Jarrell, down to Round Rock then home to Georgetown again.

I still have oil blowing past the baffle on the driver's side valve cover and soaking the breather. It's getting all over the left side of the engine and headers????
Attached is a pic of the engine and breather. Would I be better to put a different "push type" breather on?

Due to a new engine break you wil be runnig a little hot . As for jetting your carb I have the jets here in stock need your carb no. to look up the jet size and we can go smaller from there . I will be around the house this week end so if you want to come out bring the carb in hand and I can rejet it for you .
Flush the radiator is a good Idea .

Hey Tony,

Thanks for the offer. Carb is Holley 650dp. 510-O-4777.

Not the fuel pump...the stupid fuel pressure guage is hosed! Reading 3 lbs of pressure when sitting in the garage.

Tony,
How is next Saturday? I bought a Compression Tester, and a combo-Vacuum Guage/ Fuel pressure tester. Got some new Bosch plugs too. Not the platinum ones, just regular.

Do you have a small portable spot welder? I want to make a baffle for the valve covers.
