Default Howdy Y'all

I have recently moved from Buffalo, NY to Keller, TX. I understand there are quite a few Cobras down here. I have an FFR MK3 that I started about 10 years ago. Still no paint, but I am beginning the body work now. I hope in a few months I will actually have a completed car.

I would like to meet up with you guys some time in the area to check out your cars.

Be careful of that Dallas bunch. Just keep your hands on your wallet. Oh and welcome to Texas. Ear mark the last weekend of March for our annual gathering in San Marcos.

Default Welcome to DFW Franky!

Yes, we have a large active non brand specific group here. We have a luncheon every month, no matter what, on the first Saturday. You just need to watch this sub-forum the week before as we discuss the venue and start time. It is usually a breakfast in the summer months, but we'll see what people want to do for July 2nd. There are additional activities on other days, but we always communicate on this sub-forum.

We also attend special events, like the recent Shelby Show on June 11th. If you need help with some Cobra related topic, or actual hands on assistance with, say an engine install, this is the place to ask your DFW friends.

I would like to emphasize that it is not necessary for anyone to actually bring a Cobra to lunch or socialize with us. We are an informal group, not an actual "club." No membership requirements, no dues, come as you please ... Looking forward to meeting you!

Sam

Welcome Franky. We have several members in Keller and surrounding area. Our activities slow down a bit in the heat of the summer but will pick back up soon. Is the car road worthy now?

My car is currently tagged with a temporary tag. My tag says "1965 Acura" because the lady at the DMV did not understand "AC" is a brand, lol.

I consider myself in the Go-Kart ++ stage. Mechanically good to go, but needs all the bodywork, paint, and TLC.

Welcome to Texas!
Winters are better here than where you're from, summers maybe not so much.
