Post Cammer Needs Our Prayers!

Jacque called me tonight and informed me that Dee will have open heart surgery tomorrow at 10:00am at the Heart Hospital of Austin. Both Dee and Jacque need our prayers tonight and tomorrow for wisdom for the doctors and a good recovery for Dee.

Dee will have five (5) bypasses. Jacque will let me know about Dee status tomorrow, and when we can call and talk to Dee. I'll keep everyone posted. The most important thing we can do now is keep Dee and Jacque in our prayers.

Unhappy WOW, What a shock!!

Dee/Jacque,
What a shock to see this message. The prayers of the Russell family are with you, and here's hoping the "Cammer couple" will be able to join us in February.

Anyone who can have a 7" car rim thrown in front of him, drive completely over it in a car that is only 5" off the ground and only damage the oil filter needs little help with luck or prayers!

Regardless, You still have our sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery!!

Clean out them pipes and see you back on the road soon!!

Default 5PM Status

Dee has been in a holding pattern all day (due to other heart patients) resting. Jacque said that Dee was now going into surgery (5:00 PM). Keep those prayers going! I'll update everyone tomorrow noon.

Dee came out of surgery around 9:00 PM last night and is in recovery. The surgery went well. I'll post further updates from Jacque today. As soon as Dee is feeling better to accept phone calls and visitors, I'll post his room and phone numbers.

Dee is out of ICU and the doctors are starting to pull out the tubes. Dee is coping with the pain, ate some food, and will be walking soon. All his tests are looking good. Jacque told me Dee might be home by this Friday. Again, both Dee and Jacque appreciate all the prayers and support.

Thumbs up Great News!!

Dee,

So glad everything went ok. The power of prayer works. Get to feeling better old buddy.

You have a month to get feeling better before the big show.

Take it easy and listen to those Doctors, Nurses and of course Jacque.

Glad thing went well.

Still in out thoughts and Prayers,

Gregg H

Thanks ED for keeping us posted.

Dee is eating and walking to gain his strength back. Several problems that the doctors are watching for are low blood pressure and dehydration. Jacque told me that Dee could accept visitors and/or phone calls. Dee is in room 258 at the Heart Hospital of Austin, and his cell number is 512-771-1059. Call Jacque before attempting to visit.

I edited this post with the area code for Dee's cell phone. Currently Dee is scheduled for release either Saturday or Sunday.

Give them a call!
