Lightbulb Make some noise!!! Let's all email Ford Motor Co., New GT40 Concept

Thread previously posted, lost during mirroring, server transfer.
Let's Take Some Action and
Make this Beautiful GT40 Concept
a Production Reality!!!

Recently, I email Ford Motor Co., concerning the new GT40 concept and this is what Ford said:

Quote:
"We thank you for your recent e-mail. We are pleased to hear of your interest in the GT40.... Ford Motor Company appreciates hearing from our customers.... Concepts vehicles are intended to gauge the public reaction to new vehicle innovations. Based on the reaction that a particular vehicle receives, it may be introduced in some form at a future date.... At this time, there are no immediate plans to include this vehicle in the current model line-up. However, your feedback is collected and used in the decision making process for future model years."
Many Vehicles begin as concepts, only after communicatiing interest of these concepts, to Manufactures do they become production vehicles.

Kindly, take a moment (minute or two) and email your inquirey and interest into the new GT40 Concept from Ford (link): https://www.ford.com/en/support/cont...LE&sBrand=Ford

The GT40 will be to Ford, what the Viber is to Dodge and Corvette to Chevy.

Thank-you, in advance for your help.
...make this Concept a Reality.
Let's bring Ford back, from the slow economy.

Thumbs up Make some noise!!! Let's all email Ford Motor Co., GT40 Concept

...This reminds me of High School (a long long time ago), pre gathering before a High School game,
cheering the Team to Victory....

fun, fun, fun...

Make some noise!!!
Make some noise!!!

There are many benefits of having a vehicle produced from the manufacture (Ford Motor Co.) including: warranty and financing issues.

We all love the original GT40's from the late sixties. This new concept is not a replacment, but a supplement to the GT40 line.

Later,

I love GT40's!!!! But if you've seen all the images of the prototypes Ford has for these, you'd probably freak out -- like I did. If they bring this car back (which I would really love!), they are probably going to butcher it bigtime! And I still couldn't afford it at the (so far) speculative price.

Luckily, I can build a kit (more like an original), so now I just have to wait until the lottery chooses my numbers.

Cheers.

Cobra Dude, what do you mean:

I inquired about the horsepower (approx 500), with a local Ford Dealer (Tommy Vaughn), the Saleman informed that 500 HP would be possible... that's what the concept is design with, other American cars share that Horsepower, such as the Dodge Viper.

It's going to happen!!! Thankyou... Thankyou...

Ernest,

Haven't seen the lastest iteration of the body on the new (concept) GT-40, but apparently if they bring it back, the street version will be different (in and out) than the 60's version -- from some of the possibility pics I've seen (can't remember source, but a friend was showing me some pics) it's likely to not be as nice as the original. I'd still be going with a kit then. That's all I meant by "butcher".

Cheers,
-Neil.
