Subject: SCAT Road Trip
On Saturday June 6 we are planning a road trip through the scenic countryside in the Glen Rose area. Glen Rose is a picturesque and quiet community located about an hour and half southwest of DFW region.
This is being coordinated by our members Jack Bell and Jim Jones which will includes a stop for lunch at the Loco Coyote Grill. Participation is voluntary and a fun time is expected. It is recommended that you bring foldable chairs and light refreshments. Our club member’s well-being is key, especially during this time, so we will be obeying the guidelines set forth by the State of Texas, which means masks and social distancing when gathering. Of course if it rains we will postpone to a later date.
So, we will meet up between 9am - 10am at the Somervell County Courthouse, 101 NE Barnard St, Glen Rose We will depart promptly at 10am and cruise the back roads and countryside ending up at the Loco Coyote Grill, 1795 County Road 1004, Glen Rose, for lunch around 1130am. The entire route will be about 70 miles. After lunch all are welcome back to the Jones ranch for a relaxing afternoon.
