Default December DFW Meet/AER Toy Run - New Location

Hey Guys,

Bill Wages just called me and said Brian Huth (GM) at the new Five Star Ford on George Bush Freeway (Dallas/Plano) is going to host the AER Toy Drive going forward. They are going to clear a big spot in front of the dealership to park the cars and drop toys on Saturday – December 5th. Dallas Mustang group and AER will continue to support and I assume since this is outside many of the Cobra group would be interested, as in the past. I know in the last few years we have met around 9am-10:30am to drop the toys and then went somewhere for lunch. With Covid some might want to pass on lunch but I'll let the group decide on that. May Blue Goose in Plano or?

Just thought I’d give everyone a heads up on this.

Thanks Gary.

Have to come through for these kids that benefit from the Toy Drive.

Gary, I will attend but Blue Goode food sucks. How about Shuck & Jives just a few blocks away on GB?

Going to be chilly in the early am so this Toys For Tots event runs from 9am-1pm at Five Star Ford. In the past few years we met around 9:45-10am then went to lunch around 11am. I'll probably be there around 10am but not sure about lunch unless its outside on a patio somewhere. If there is no lunch or people prefer lunch later for warmer weather could meet at Five Star at 11am as it will be 50 by then?

I`d be down for meeting at 5 Star at 11.
That way I could leave the heated gear at the house.
