Gt40 Firing Party!!!!
IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME!!!!
SUNDAY, I PRESSURE UP THE FUEL SYSTEM. MONDAY OR TUESDAY THE COOLANT SYSTEM. WEDNESDAY THE TRANNY IS OILED AND READY. THURSDAY THE CHARGER GOES ON THE BATTERY, YADA YADA YADA.
THE QUESTION IS... IS SATURDAY THE 16TH OR SUNDAY THE 17TH THE BEST FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO COME?
WE ARE PLANNING ON FOOD, BEER AND SOFT DRINKS, CHIPS AND STUFF, YOU KNOW, NORMAL FIRING PARTY STUFF.
EVERYONE TELL ME WHAT IS THE BEST DAY FOR YA'LL AND WE WILL DO IT ON THE DAY THAT THE MAJORITY CHOOSES. ALSO IF YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW HOW MANY TO EXPECT SO I CAN FRY A LITTLE TURKEY, COOK A LITTLE RIBS, DO A LITTLE DANCE AND KNOW HOW MUCH BEVERAGES WILL BE NEEDED
GIVE US SOME FEEDBACK HERE. I NEED TO KNOW JUST HOW CLEAN THE GARAGE NEEDS TO BE
EVERYONE IS WELCOME FOR THE FIRING OF THE MINIBEAST.

DAMN!!! I wish I lived closer. I would bring a couple of scantily clad beach bunnies to celebrate.

very cool
Post a mpeg somewhere if it's possible. Those of us who are freezing our a$$es off would appreciate the sights and sounds (if not the smells) of the beast fireing up. I'm talking about the BBQ of course. Oh the "40" would be cool too!

Firing party
Just let us know the date. Is the dress formal or semi-formal? I never know which Cobra t-shirt to wear?

Lookin' Good!
I stopped by Jay's at lunch today, man that thing just looks like 100 mph sitting on jack stands!! I pulled into the driveway and Jay was sitting there trying to figure out how to finagle a Porsche starter on a Ford motor ... !!
I may go by tomorrow with the digital camera to post some "preview" pics if Jay'll let me...

GT40 is Soooo close!!!!!
Jay has been working very hard to get the GT40 where it will come to life. I think you will all be impressed with what has been done. This mother has been a monster in many ways, but all the hard work(Mostly Jay's) is getting close to being a little bit enjoyable. Jay and I absolutely cannot wait to hear it.
For those that have asked for video and sound clips of the event,
we have several people coming which are digital camera gurus.
