No Cobra for Austin - Empty trailer
Wouldn't ya know, we sell our cobra the week before Austin, what a bummer! We are still going though, wouldn't miss this event.
Just wondering if anybody might need an enclosed ride for their cobra and themselves? We are planing on leaving Friday morning also, but probably can't leave Plano until around 10 a.m. , previous committment. Cory will be pulling our open trailer with Tom and Ute's Dax cobra, so we could take another car in our enclosed trailer.
Let me know via e-mail or call (972) 424-1316.

Poor timing, but glad you were able to move the Cobra. Heck - bring the Thunderbolt.

Hey Dick,
Thanks, we have thought about bringing the T-Bolt, but this is a cobra event, wouldn't want to be an oddball with all the cobras.
Sorry, I may be premature on the trailer offer. The folks that bought our cobra called just this morning asking if I could store the car until they can get their garage cleaned out, don't know if that is a few days or longer.

We do not have a trailer and are planning to take our cobra to Austin. Jay Nordstrom has been trying to locate a trailer we could pull behind our truck, but it would be a heck of lot easier for us with the baby if we could get a "ride" for the cobra. You can call me at home (214.227.1145) at your convenience or on my cell (214.213.3051).
regards... Chip Mello

Hey Allen I'll give you a call ASAP as I just saw your post about trailer space. I'd love to take you up on the offer if still available. Little Greg (972) 434-6046, work# 214-792-1514.

Ok the spot is reserved Chip #1 and little Greg #2.
As I think I have explained to both, I hope to have the trailer empty by Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. Chip I will let you know as soon as I can, if either of you make other arrangements, please let me know so that I can let the other know.
If it works out that I have the empty trailer, we plan on leaveing Plano with at least two tow vehicles Friday morning around 10 a.m. Chip or Greg since we have a quad cab truck if either of you can leave friday morning you are certainly welcome to ride with us also. That way we can share the cost of the fuel instead of feeding two vehicles going to the same place.
