A GRAND thankyou to all who made the TCC event possible. I know the S1 was out of place, but Andy and I felt right at home with you guys. Great party! Special thanks to Doug and Ronnie Reed for the Friday night blowout.

A Blast!
Hey Snakeyes, you must have missed the the Lime Creek portion of the Poker run. It had some awesome twists and turns in it. I understand about half the cars missed the turn and followed the lead car directly to Joe's. Great views of the lake also.
And Bobby, I got that pass you made on the shoulder at the beginning of the poker run on video. Don't worry, I'll make sure to include that on the production version of the tape.
If anyone feels up to it, feel free to send Jason at KEYE a "Thank You" for our exposure on TV. You can look him up at KEYETV.com. Anyone still wanting digital photos from Jack Puryear can reach him at 512-419-0900. And lastly, I still have about 20 t-shirts remaining. About 5 large and 15 2x large. Contact me or pick one up at the next Austin meeting.

Jeff:
Oops -- Uh, officer, that wasn't the shoulder I was driving on - that was a right turn lane... I just decided not to turn right
Hey, I was trying to stay up with my good buddies Lawrence and Gloria Bell! They had the map! Yea, that's the ticket!

Joe,
Thanks for all of your hospitality. Nell and I had a great time. It was wonderful to see everyone again. Next year I'll be sure and bring about 5 kegs of homebrew and a few cases of Big Will'y Salsa.
We got really lucky as we ran out of gas while entering Joe's backyard ! Someone was watching us!
Ciao for Now...

Jeff, I was just being a smart a** in my comments about a lack of curves. I loved every inch of Lime Creek Road, unlike the guy on the superbike who kept falling back, despite his efforts to the contrary.
Once again, thanks to all.

Many thanks to all you Austin guys who made this years event one that was truly unforgettable! I can't think of anything you could have done to make it any better. Thanks to Enzo & Co. and Gary for all the nice door prizes. Good food, great weather, friendly people, and fine lookin' cars....life is good! My Dad is still talkin' about how much fun he had and he's 88 years young. Can't wait until the next one.
