Exclamation DFW March meeting re-scheduled

Dear all,

after having a look at the responses of y'all so far and taking the latest weather forecast for the DFW area into account, I think, it is a wise decision to re-schedule the DFW monthly meeting.

In order to give you enough time for recovery from last weekend (and sufficient time to wax and shione your snakes), we propose to have the meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 16th.

Everything else will stay the same. In the follow-up message, we will give you the details once again.

I hope, that this re-schedule does not cause too many problems for you (I know, y'all are very flexible).

And once again, please give us a note, of who will come, so we will be able to prepare everything accordingly.

Looking forward to see y'all in McKinney.

Ute & Thomas

Default The details

Hi all,

The orinetation rally will take appr. one hour and will lead you to some interesting places in the McKinney area. We will also have trophies for the winning teams. There is still sufficient time for chatting, sitting together, eating, drinking,...after the rally at the BBQ. The BBQ at Erwin Park will be weather-independent (there's a big roof in case of rain) and we will have sufficient parking spots for our cars and they will never be out of sight.
Nevertheless, it might be a good idea to bring a chair, because we might run out of benches underneath the roof in case of rain.

Ok, here are the details:

When: Saturday, March 16th, 10.30 am
Where: McKinney, New Courthouse parking lot (corner of Davis/Tennessee (see description below)

It's pretty easy to get there:
1) take US 75 (Central Expressway) north
2) take exit 38a to Highway 5
3) stay on Highway 5 north (McDonald St) for appr. 3 miles
4) turn left into Davis St.(immediately prior to the water tower)
5) turn left into Tennessee and you reached the parking lot of the New Courthouse

It would be great and ease the preparation work, if you guys could give us a heads up at least a few days prior to the event, whether you are planning to come or not.
We'll prepay the cost for food and drink, so you might bring a couple of bucks with you in order to help us surviving the rest of the month.

Looking forward to see y'all in McKinney.

Ute & Thomas

Sorry,

Won't be able to make that weekend either....have a wedding I am in.

I appreciate that you rescheduled for a different day but you may just look at delaying until the April meeting....just another suggestion and only mine.

Default wedding has higher priority

Matt,

delaying it until April is difficult. One of the reasons we had scheduled it for March was the fact, that from April on a lot of car shows will take place and a lot of us will be somewhere else.

Well, it's a fact of life that you will never be able to have everybody available at the same time.
We are sorry not to see you in McKinney, but nevertheless, enjoy the wedding and I am pretty sure, there will be plenty of opportunities to come together in the course of this year.

Hey Thomas,

We are leaving for Vegas Sunday, will be back about mid week.

Ok so March 16, that's good for us.

If you have not already purchased the trophies, Donna has a real good source for really nice trophies right here in the Dallas area.

So if you need her to help with them give her a call.

Later,

Alan & Donna

Default Trophies

Alan,

as you know, Ute is very creative, so she came up with a nice idea for the trophies. She already finished them, so there is no need to purchase them. But anyhow, thanks for the hint. I think we will have to give Donna a call pretty soon concerning jackets.

Have fun in Vegas and take care.

Thomas,

Sounds like Ute has the trophies covered then. I bet they will be pretty cool, can't wait, looking forward to the 16th.

When ever ya'll get ready for those jackets, shirts or anything else just let Donna know. She has about 40 different jackets to choose from, we have the cobra digitized already so let her know when you are ready to look and decide what you want.

Default Looking forward to see y'all

It looks like the 16th is a day, where most of you are available. So it was worth the re-scheduling. Maybe I should contact our Ex-Royal Rhubarb and ask for sunshine and pleasant temperatures.

See y'all

Unhappy Crappola, I can't make it!!

Dang it,
My daughter has a Volleyball tournament that day, & I have to be there! I can't believe it, but I am not going to tell you where it is, 'cause if a bunch of Cobras rumbled by I don't think I could take it!
You all have a great time, as I know you will!

Hi All!

I'm a new member and would love to join you at the meeting on the 16th. I'd like the meet all the people I plan on milking for information while I build my car. Unfotunately I just started building so I won't have my Cobra there. I'll just have to stand back and drool over everyone else's cars. (I promise I won't get any on the paint! ) If anyone has an open seat I'd love to fill it for them. JRoss - if the Pidler doesn't take you up on the offer, I'll take it! I saw your car at the show in Dallas - beautiful!!

Thanks,
Jason

Default Don't forget about it!

Guys,

don't forget about our meeting this Saturday. If you plan to join us, please let us now, because we have to do some grocery shopping for the BBQ tomorrow.

We don't wanna be blamed for letting you starve to death. So, pleeeeaaaaase, just send a quick reply with a Yes or a No.

Looking forward to see y'all on Saturday. You can also give us a call at 972 547 3630, if you are to lazy to write.

Ute & Thomas
