I'm In!
I'll take the low road (Hwy71) straight into Llano. The two lane stretch of Hwy71 just after 281 has alot of Bluebonnets. (Hopfully the Bluebonnets should be in full force by then.)
Anyone wanting to convoy with me, give me a call (288-0446).

Whassss Up Austin?
What's the game plan for this month? Do we want to do a long cruise or a quick lunch locally? Let's hear from everyone in the Austin area. Rain or shine, lets meet.

I'm working on the 13th.
Ren,
I'd like to go up to Bobby's place for the car show. BUt I have to work this weekend. If any body is going to anything else let me know. The only thing I have is a B-Party for the oldest Son on 20 April.
Take care,
Gregg H
BTW - This rain sucks.(Yea, I know we need it.)

Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain
Three weather stations are predicting rain for this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cobras will stay under wraps this weekend.
We can do a lunch some where this weekend, or shoot for better weather on the 20th or 27th.
Anyone got a portable TV with a VHS player? I can bring my friends video of the TCC Spring Meet. The Dallas group had the sports bar play the tape at their lunch meet last Saturday.
Let's hear from everyone, we need inputs.

If no objections, due to the poor forecast for this weekend let's push this out until Saturday, 20 April? Not that it may not rain then but the odds can't be any worse?
Comments?

Roll Call!
Okay; This Austin silence is getting to me. Is everyone out of town, or have lost interest in Cobras and the Cobra fellowship?
We need a roll call to see who is alive or dead.
Chat it up Austin members! Damm, I might have to drive to Houston and hang out with Dennis and crew, or go to Dallas. (TGIAER on May 4th.)
Dennis, and you thought you had problems in Houston.

I agree! I posted a message about finally taking the plunge and other than you there was zero commentary! Too bad, but I'm building the car with or without the rest of the locals!
I guess since we're our own click now (FFR) we don't need anybody else anyway! ;>

If you push it out to Apr 20, I may be able to join you (in my GT500 clone). I might be able to make Apr 13, but I don't have weatherstripping on my trunk, so rain means a puddle of water were it doesn't belong.
Yes, I want to build a Cobra, but that's a ways off.

I'm Alive (I think)!
Hey,
I'm alive and doing well. Just that I'm knee deep in stuff.
The 20th is cool with me. I'm up for a drive or to eat or to just hang.
Work has been busier than expected. It will calm down after May.
Gregg H
BTW Congrats Ed (#2) for taking the FFR plunge. Let us know when it comes home we can help you (it)unpack.

TV/VHS Player + Videos
Tony; You took videos of the TCC Spring Meet, didn't you? If so, bring both the TV/VHS unit and your VHS tape to our next meet. We can watch the tapes where ever we meet. (Can you dub a copy for me so I can attach it to my video? Now if I can get Cobra Dude to dub me his video, I can assemble several different videos of the TCC Spring Meet.)
By the way, where is Cobra Dude? I left a message for Neil to call me about dubbing videos.

Rain Going Away
Looks like mother nature is giving us a break, the rain is shifting into next week. We should have a rainless weekend.

Double Wammy!!!
Here's the poop. Bobby Fullen's Hot Rod Show is still a go in Llano. He will have door prizes and food. This would be great for this weekend 13 April.
On next Saturday, 20 April, I'm planning a BBQ meet in Bastrop We will then visit to Skip Higinbotham's place (Land speed record holder) to see his cars and thought a visit to "Lone Star Rod & Custom" as well. I was told that he had a cobra as well. Skip is really looking forward to 20 cobras rumbling into his neighborhood!
Either way, go to one, go to both????
Thoughts?

Both are great suggestions. I'm not sure everyone has the time to do an all day event with family or personal commitments. Let's see what the others can do. A simple central lunch meet or gathering may be prudent to get everyone in one place for a couple of hours. Additional all day events are just iceing on the cake for others. (MHO)
I can do Llano this Saturday and Bastrop next Saturday, as well as a local lunch meet if the majority so chooses.
Okay Austin members, time to vote on what you want to do. Let's hear from you!
