Late Breaking News
Well what can I say except that Tom Meadows (aka; the Royal Rhubarb, ERA600HP), our past TCC president, is now engaged. We have photographic proof of his proposal to Marla (Tom on his knees begging Marla to have him).
Additional proposal witnesses were James & Jeanie, and Greg and Vickie.
It's the old ball and chains for Tom. I had to get the message out to all the TCC members before Tom gets back to Dallas. Tom will now have to get his act together. No more whipped cream with Charmer, no more dropping his pants in front of everyone, and he may even have to sell his 600HP Cobra. Who knows what is in store for old Tom?
Further details and photos will be posted to all.
Congrats to Tom and Marla.

A His and Her Cobra Family!
Congrats Tom and Marla,
I know one thing that will definitely come out of this: Marla will improve Tom’s wardrobe selection. Heck getting Tom in a pair of pants will be an improvement.
I bet she is already asking for a 700hp Cobra for a wedding present. Forget the ring I want Horse Power!
Again Congratulations!

Wonderful weekend
We had a great time this weeked!!!
That's right girls (and a few of you "guys"), Tom is officially off the market. Congratulations Tom and Marla! It could not happen to two nicer people.
Thanks to the Csoltkos for meeting us in Wimberely. We all learned from the glass artist how to make glass sculptures and then screw up and break them once they are finished
And though we did not bring the cars, it was still a great time.
I have a few more pictures at Clubphoto here:

Congrats Tom and Marla,
Have you set a date yet. I heard something about June, a parking lot with quite a few cool cars, Tulsa, thursday night party with a Rhubarb theme. Is there something your not telling us.
Best wishes to both of you!!

How about setting a date sometime mid-Feburary and getting hitched at the Origin's garage Then we could let you and your bride be the first car in the poker run....wouldn't that be just beautiful

Congrats Tom and Marla - that is really exciting and couldn't happen to a nicer couple of people. Tom - it looks like you did the traditional deal with the kneel, the ring and everything.
Does that mean that Matt Tice will be the Ring Bearer???? He is the baby in the bunch, you know!!!!

APRIL FOOLS DAY AND TOM'S ENGAGEMENT IS REALLY GIVING ME FITS I AM TRYING REALLY HARD NOT TO DO SOMETHING HERE TO GET BACK AT TOME FOR ALL THE STUFF HE'S PULLED ON ME OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS I'M NOT GONNA DO IT, I'M NOT GONNA DO IT!!!
I'M NOT GONNA POST PICS OF TOM IN THOSE BAMA BOXER SHORTS THAT HE USED TO WORK IN THE SHOP IN. I'M NOT GOING TO MENTION HOW BROKEN HEARTED STRETCH IS NOW THAT HE'S LOSING YET ANOTHER ONE. I WILL NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT MATT TICE IN A TUX OR EVEN A CLEAN SHIRT.
I AM NOT GOING TO TELL ANYONE THAT I VISITED WITH TOM AND MARLA TODAY AND OBSERVED THE NESTING RITUAL IN PERSON OR HOW TOM WAS ACTUALLY WEARING CLOTHES WHILE HES WAS DOING AS MARLA SAID "TRYING TO MAKE ME HAPPY". JUST NOT GONNA DO IT, ESPECIALLY IF ALL THAT IT TAKES TO MAKE MARLA HAPPY IS MOVING FURNITURE I AM HAPPY FOR TOM SINCE THAT IS ABOUT ALL HE CAN DO WITH HIS ADVANCED AGE.
I WILL HOWEVER EXPRESS MY CONGRATULATIONS TO TOM AND HIS CHOICE OF LADY AND EXPRESS MY CONDOLENCES TO MARLA FOR HER CHOICE IN MEN
ONE I QUESTION, ONE I DON'T, GO FIGURE
BE HAPPY MARLA AND TOM YOU ARE A LUCKY SOB...

Yah, I remember when I was Tom's age and acted so sappy towards women. Glad I grew out of that stage.

HEY, Wait a minute here!!
No one asked MY permission! Tom, when you said you wouldn't let Marla come between us a few minutes ago, I had no idea what you were talking about....but now that I've seen this post, I know that you are serious.
I'm serious TOO!! I'm jealous. You better get a bed that's big enough for the three of us, and enough Whipped Cream to go around!!
Congrats buddy!! And best wishes for a long and happy life together. And since I've know Marla for 20 years or so, I can say with confidence that you've landed a good one my friend!! Hang on to her. (Marla, I promise I won't tell Tom about all those nights craziness in San Marcos )
Love you Barb,
Charmer

Tom and Marla,
I know congrats are in order but I have one question for Tom.....
Did you decide to marry Marla since several of us in the club told you we would keep her and get ride of you, if you let her get away?
Tom and Marla, Carrie and I are happy for the both of you. Seeing the two of you together, it is like you have been together forever. To bad you didn't know it then.
